    Unknown Samegrelo 2024



    The full lunch menu unites Megrelian cuisine’s rare and forgotten dishes, which over the course of seven years Oda’s team has learned, revived, and given a certain context. These dishes are only available to taste at Oda Family Marani. In addition, the menu includes a pairings with natural wines from Samegrelo, Imereti and Lechkhumi. 

    Meal is hosted by Oda Family winery’s founder, wine writer and essayist Keto Ninidze.

    •    Menu includes 8 dishes (sharing portions) and 5 glasses (100 ml each) of wine;
    •    Menu includes Martvili’s organic tea / coffee, “Mtis Tskali” glass-bottled steal water, and bread;
    •    Length of lunch – 3 hours;

    •    3+ guests - 150 GEL (per person);
    •    1-3 guests - 400 GEL (per group);
    •    Discount is available to partner companies for groups of more than 18 guests.

    Prices for tour guides and drivers:
    •    with more than 5 guests - 30 GEL;
    •    with 1-4 guests - 60 GEL.


    1. Gadzghirkia ritual ball - blanched nettle (/ spinach / beet leaf) ball in a traditional Megrelian bazha walnut sauce bath;

    2. Chincholia salad with fresh tomatoes, string cheese, nadughi cheese, green and blue basil leaves, seasoned in homemade sunflower oil and green ajika paste;
    3. Khulish lechkere lacto-fermented kohlrabi salad with kidney beans, fresh chachamuta chkidi (cornbread) croutons, seasoned with walnut and grape vinegar kachabi paste;

    Baked Goods
    4. Khachapuri "Lamberti" – gebzhalia-khachapuri (burrata-pizza like hybrid), served with Abkhazian drdz herbed yogurt sauce and topped with herbs from our garden;

    Main Dish
    5. Roasted chicken, seasoned with spicy ajika paste, with the bath of fresh herb and green chili pepper tsitsaka sauce;
    6. Her royal highness traditional Megrelian kharcho beef stew, with the sauce of walnut and tomato, topped with dried persimmons and tomatoes.

    7. Abkhazian extra-cheesy and stretchy chemkva polenta made with fresh cheese, served with various ajika pastes.

    8. Burrata-style gebzhalia dessert filled with strained yogurt, with stewed pear and cornbread crumbles.
